Brief History
The Ballarat AA District held its first meeting on 6 September 2008. It was formed after members expressed a desire to hold an Anniversary weekend and set up a local phone line.
Both these objectives were achieved in February 2009. Ballarat’s 58th Anniversary weekend funded commencement of the phone line. The phone line now takes local calls to the national 1300 number.
